Social Media Sizes FAQ

Instagram square posts should be 1080×1080 pixels. Landscape posts are 1080×566 pixels, and portrait posts are 1080×1350 pixels. Our tool uses the square 1080×1080 which is the most versatile.
YouTube recommends 1280×720 pixels (HD) for thumbnails. The minimum is 640×360 pixels. Thumbnails must be under 2MB in JPG, GIF, or PNG format. Our tool resizes to the recommended 1280×720.
